Happy New Year! The future looks positive for clean beauty which has been included in the top wellness trend predictions for 2017. Following on from the shift towards clean eating, consumers have become increasingly savvy about cleaner ingredients in their skincare and many now apply the same scrutiny to what that they put on their bodies as they do to what they put in.

Last month we took part in Clean Cult Christmas in London, a collaboration between Clean Beauty Co and bloggers Call it Vanity. The event showcased some wonderful natural and organic skincare brands and we were delighted to be invited to join them representing mum and baby skincare. The event was attended by a crowd of committed clean beauty consumers as well as those keen to find out more about the buzz around natural beauty and test out the skincare and cosmetics on offer. Talks held during the event were well attended and informative on the subject of trends within clean beauty and the day was a great success.

Pregnancy is often a time when we think more carefully about wellness – from the foods we consume to the products we use. Read my story HERE to learn why this is a significant time to consider your skincare choices.

Baby can go clean and green too. If you are both a new parent and new to natural skincare my skincare guide “10 Steps to Super Healthy Baby Skin” is a great place to start with explanations of what to include, what to avoid and how to decipher those confusing cosmetic labels.

On the subject of green babies we recently received a fantastic review from respected green beauty blogger and second time mum Ana Goes Green for our organic and free from Baby Butter and Baby Oil saying: Nom Nom is a great brand, with brilliant ethics, ingredients lists and I love that it is formulated specifically for mums and babies as it is such a special time. I can actually see myself using this brand for years to come as it’s just wonderful.
